Wilberforce Island City 2016

Client: KEFFES, Bayelsa State

The State of Bayelsa was created in the wake of the protests by local communities against the exploitation by the Nigerian government and oil companies of the local communities and the environment.  This led to a deal with local communities, one of whom approached ARG Design to conceptualise a new city on the island of Wilberforce.  It is hoped that this dream will soon be realised.
